ABOUT LINDA
I have always been drawn to three things: spirituality, nutrition, and athletics. Having a deep spiritual thirst, I graduated from Earlham School of Religion, the country's only Quaker Seminary. My thirst continues to this day as I have studied Buddhism, Hinduism, Paganism, and many other forms of the spiritual path.
I have always been fascinated by the human body and how far I could push it or what it was capable of. I danced ballet with a small ballet corps, was co-captain of my High School Gymnastics team, worked as a Personal Trainer and Spinning Instructor, and competed in Triathlons for 20 years.
This only fueled my quest to understand how best to fuel the human body, which led me down a long and winding path to a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell.
Yoga was always in my periphery as something I might try "someday". Someday arrived and in the 70's up through the 90's, I tried every style of yoga I could find, but nothing fit. None of them felt right.
Until the day someone mentioned Kundalini Yoga. I looked it up and watched a few videos. My response at the time," Yeah, I'm not doing that. That's weird." Something drew me back through, and I tried an online video, and then another, and another. It spoke to my soul and was a synthesis of all my passions. It also allowed for the injuries I had accrued from a lifetime of athletics.
Having completed my training with Guru Singh and Bret Larkin I am excited to share this living technology with anyone who is willing to try.
